Privacy Policy

Prompt Refiner ("the App") is developed by Cybridz. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

    TL;DR: We collect no personal data. We don't track you. Your API keys never leave your device.
  

1. Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:

No account or registration is required
No name, email, phone number, or address is collected
No analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs are included
No cookies or advertising identifiers are used

2. Anonymous Device ID

The App generates a random UUID (universally unique identifier) stored locally on your device. This ID is used solely for rate-limiting free API requests (10 per day). It is:

Not linked to your identity in any way
Not stored on our servers permanently (only used as a temporary key with 24-hour expiration)
Deleted when you uninstall the App

3. API Keys

You may optionally provide your own API keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini. These keys are:

Stored exclusively on your device using Android Keystore (hardware-backed encryption)
Never transmitted to our servers
Sent directly from your device to the respective AI provider when you make a refinement request
Deleted when you remove them in Settings or uninstall the App

4. Prompt Data

When you use the free tier, your prompt text is sent to our Cloudflare Worker proxy, which forwards it to Google Gemini for processing. We do not log, store, or retain your prompts. The proxy is stateless.

When you use your own API key, prompt data goes directly from your device to the AI provider. We are not involved in that communication.

5. Prompt History

Refined prompts are saved locally on your device for your convenience. This data is never uploaded or synced anywhere. It is deleted when you clear history in the App or uninstall it.

6. Third-Party Services

The App communicates with:

Cloudflare Workers (our proxy) — for free-tier requests only. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Google Gemini API — for AI processing. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
OpenAI API (optional) — if you add your own key. Subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
Anthropic API (optional) — if you add your own key. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected in the "Effective date" above and in the App's store listing.
